ÉLAN CAFE

Élan Cafe is the newest cafe hotspot that people can't get enough of. They have two sites (Kensington & Park Lane) and takes the whole floral arrangements to a whole new level. We visited the Kensington cafe to experience it for ourselves.

It might not look like much from the outside but when you get in you're greeted by the a large cherry blossom tree and a long marble table filled with many treats to try and tempt you. They also have a neon sign displayed on one of the walls and in the back room there's a whole wall filled to the brim with flowers. People queue and die to try and take a nice photo in front of it and it seems to be one of the biggest draws to this cafe.

The food is nice; they don't just do hot drinks and bakery items, they also have a wide range of different foods on their lunch menu. They range from avocado on toast to chicken fingers so there is definitely something for everyone.

Whilst the food was great we did think the price was a bit steep for drinks - a hot chocolate costed more than the cakes we got at around £6. They're nice but definitely not worth the extra money from places like Palm Vaults or just a standard Starbucks.

Be prepared to wait! The place is constantly busy - there's always at least one group of people waiting out the front. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated but the place has a time limit that stops people from hanging out all day in there due to it's amazing atmosphere.

It's a short 5/10 minute walk from the V&A museum so if you're in the area why wont pop over, get a cake to take away and bask in the atmosphere.

Majority of these shots were taken on our new favourite app - Huji. It's set up to take photos like how a disposable camera would!

PS it's also free.
