LIFE IN DEATH EXHIBITION - KEW
Within Kew Gardens is the Rebecca Louise Law piece that is displayed within the Shirley Sherwood Gallery.
The piece involved a vast amount of hanging floral arrangements that where varied in species and colour. The idea behind the piece is to leave to flowers hanging for a long period of time. At the start that would be alive and full of colour and by the end of the exhibition the colour would have left and it would be nothing more than a series of dead flowers hanging in a room - no colour and life left.
We fortunately got to visit this at the mid point of the exhibition whereby some flowers had started to die off and some were still alive with colour.
