NATIONAL GALLERY

The National Gallery sits on one of the busiest parts of London and draws a lot of traffic through it. Personally we tend to visit other art museums like the Tate and Saatchi over this one. However after revisiting this gallery after a number of years it is refreshing to see beautiful artwork displayed in regal frames in great architectural rooms.

The gallery itself is free and is home to some pieces, like Van Gogh, that you normally have to pay in order to see. It's worth a visit if you're in the are or trying to avoid the rush hour scramble. The museum itself is vast and you'll find yourself getting lost within the numerous amounts of artwork and the glorious architecture.
