SAATCHI GALLERY
The Saatchi Gallery aims to provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the UK.
As an Art student the Saatchi gallery is my personal favourite gallery in the whole of London. Purely because they change over the exhibitions frequently, and you are able to get up close and personal with the artwork. No ropes or restrictions, but rather, huge open light spaces for you to really appreciate and admire delicate strokes and textures of the art. The artwork on at the moment features, Japanese inspired art, emoji art, contemporary paintings, and typography and interactive art.
Sloane Street is the nearest tube stop. Entrance is free. Open 10-6.30pm 7 days a week.
Whilst in the area why not visit the V&A, Science and Natural History Museum, all a short walk away, or fill up on some food within the area, all too tempting and delicious.
